How To

Bridges

Hi everyone ,

The purpose of building bridges is to create a connection. What is the importance of creating a connection? What would happen if bridges didn’t exist? Can we still reach our destination or full potential if we didn’t cross a bridge?

Basically, every connection whether physically or metaphorically leads to a chain of events that create experiences. Short of these opportunities we would only be familiar with our own little corner of the world.  Stepping out onto new ground will push you out of your comfort zone. Embrace the discomfort knowing that this is very good for your development as a person. Search for it, because it is helping you grow.

Building bridges is necessary and allows us to spread our wings and venture into new territory. For some of us this can be unnerving, but a well travelled person is considered enlightened, and less ignorant. As you conquer the obstacles, you realize you CAN do things. You figure out that you can navigate new situations despite obstacles, you become smarter, more competent. You are also building confidences and ability to adapt.

When traveling to another town you must cross a bridge to reach your destination.  When losing or starting a new job you must cross a bridge of unknowns.  Please keep in mind that these passages are meant to expose us to different perspectives and a better self.  It makes you more open to new things, and makes you a better problem solver.

As Dr. Seuss says,  Oh, the places you’ll go.

Life has unexpected and endless possibilities!  Full of new beginnings, and not the end of your journey.

Please share your beta bold views on this topic. We can all learn from each other.

Thank you,

JAM

  1. As I read your post, I had flashback and really appreciated each and every time my grandmother had voiced to me that
“your life’s experience is your best teacher. Embrace whatever life teaches you through the trials, tribulations and triumph you will encounter. The most important thing is that you learn and grow from each encounter; either negative or positive.” – Momof2’s Grandma

Looking back, I thank God for giving me the grace to dance through my life’s storm and calm moments. I thank Him for giving me the grace to embrace every journey as a learning experience that continues to shape me into what God wants me to be.

I pray that as many reads your post will be blessed by your message and receive the peace and grace of God which surpasses all understanding as we continue on our life’s journey. Shalom!
