Hi everyone, it’s the 4th of July weekend!
We are more than halfway into the year, and it’s a great time to check in with yourself? Have you accomplished any goals? Are you moving forwards/backwards or not at all? Do you feel lost or as if something is missing in your life? So many of us walk through life, feeling numb and desperate for a deeper connection.Very often we unknowingly and unconsciously take a back seat in our lives. Feeling paralyzed and watching life happening all around us. Stuck in a bubble. Everything is relating to you and your feelings. You’re going through the motions and maintaining the status quo. If you don’t know what your life’s purpose is then you don’t know why you are here! Diana Ross said it best: “Do you know where you’re going to?” “Do you like the things that life is showing you?” ” Do you know?”
What is your life’s purpose? How are you serving yourself, and serving those around you? Are you committed to taking the necessary steps to stay on purpose. Have you kept a commitment to eat, sleep, and staying in shape? Starting with the basics is a step in the right direction. When you can’t stick to habits, or having a hard time sticking to a diet, you’re in the bubble. The more you act the more you get clear on things. Take Nike’s advise, and Just Do It. It’s a choice between living or dying.
To lead a purposeful life, you must follow your passion(s). Having a passioned filled life means you are living on purpose. Here are a few steps to finding your purpose:
- Create a vision board. What do you love? What does the world need?
- Hone in on your craft to the point of exhaustion.
- Learn to step outside of your comfort zone and see things with a wider view.
- Listen to your life by looking at your past.
- See the bigger picture. Feel what others might be feeling.
- Move towards positivity. Track everything positive that you’ve achieved.
Your life is a gift, and you must make the most of it, and not waste a second. Remember, time waits for no one. So get off your but, and get to it. I dare you!!
Please share your thoughts and ideas on this topic. We can all learn from each other. Thank you.
