Hi everyone,
Happy Valentine’s Day! This post is a gift from me to you.
Sometimes you need a new thing in your life – just because. Sometimes it’s revamping something old for something new. Making deliberate changes here and there. Sometimes it’s about old ideas/behaviors/things that aren’t serving you and your life. Sometimes it’s about turning something off to turn something on. Switching gears, or taking a turn. Are you ready and willing to love yourself enough to level up?
Let’s start with defining “new”. What is the definition of new? Is it something that we haven’t experienced yet or accomplished? Is it something that we haven’t seen, heard or felt. Is it a new attitude, a new look, a new perspective? Is it a relationship(s)? Is it a path we haven’t travelled on? Is it birth to a new idea? Is it picking up where you left off from last year?
What is your definition of new? According to the dictionary, new is defined as recently developed, up to date, latest, current state-of-the-art, contemporary, advance, recent modern, cutting-edge, leading edge.
What is going to be your new thing in 2019? How are you doing so far? You are into a new year of experiences already. The year 2019 is still brand new enough to get things started.
Some basic rules about the ideology of “new”. It is understood we cannot bring something new into something old. We cannot mix old wine into new wine because both wines will be spoiled. We cannot find fruit in fruitless places. You cannot put a “new person” into an old relationship.

Remember you’re not worse off than anyone else. You are enough to turn your life around and around and around. You can change your mindset. You can change your belief systems. You can make adjustments as you go along. Remember your life is not a straight path, and it can very often feel like a rollercoaster ride. Hold on for your life, it’s the only one you have! So on this Valentine’s Day let’s take a stand to loving ourselves just a little bit more by living our best life.
