How To Inspiration Level up Survival Skills

Safeguard your secret place…your inner peace

Hi everyone,

Life has it’s trials and tribulations. Life has its ups and downs. Life has its moments of laughter, sadness, and madness. Life keeps moving/changing and waits for no one. Life is evolving and transforming lives. Life is happening everywhere, and no where. Life is for the living. Life begins with you, begins with me, and with anyone and everyone. Life can be filled with excitement. Life experiences can also lead to boredom. Life can be cluttered with busy schedules. Life can be spent in idleness. Life can be riddled with mental, emotional, and physical illnesses. Life can be about healthy life style choices. Life has a lot to offer. Life can be taken away in a flash. How do we manage our lives in such a way that we reap the benefits, and minimize losses. How do we follow the path that leads us to our success stories, and happiness. In order for us to manage this fast paced life we need to maintain a balance within our spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental body spaces. Without balance we cannot maintain our inner peace.

Simply living is not a simple task. Our lives are often filled with noise, frantic days, and preoccupation. These levels of disturbances can lead to difficulty with processing information that we need. You may also experience anxiety, fear, and anger. Consequently, a busy minded life, can trigger mental occlusion and exhaustion. Living can be challenging when your life is filled with stress and upsets. How do we maintain our inner peace?

What is inner peace? Is it a feeling or state of being? Is it important to have inner peace?

According to Freebase: Inner peace refers to a state of being mentally and spiritually at peace, with enough knowledge and understanding to keep oneself strong in the face of discord or stress. Being “at peace” is considered by many to be healthy and the opposite of being stressed or anxious.

If you want to reach a state of bliss, then go beyond your ego and the internal dialogue. Make a decision to relinquish the need to control, the need to be approved, and the need to judge. Those are the three things the ego is doing all the time. It’s very important to be aware of them every time they come up.

What do we need to do to have inner peace? Here are a few suggestions:

  1. Practice daily meditation – The practice of meditation is associated with a sense of peacefulness and relaxation. Researchers have long claimed that meditation also provides cognitive and psychological benefits that persist throughout the day.
  2. Stay true to your higher self – Who are you? How does your mind, ego, needs or experiences influence your life. Take some time to understand who you are. What are your values/belief systems, goals, and passions? This defines you and makes you authentic.
  3. Be truthful – Be real. Hiding the truth creates more damage in the long run.
  4. Stop fighting and surrender – Resolve issues by detaching yourself from the problem to facilitate resolution. Resistance blocks positive energy from flowing.
  5. Decide who want to be in all interactions/circumstances – Approach every situation or person in a calm manner. Mentally prepare yourself and plan for a calm, controlled response even during trying times.
  6. Don’t ignore the small stuff – Small stuff becomes bigger stuff over time and creates imbalance. Find healthy ways to resolve the small stuff with the understanding that it may take time to resolve.

Maintaining your inner peace requires you to boldly take action for the one life that you have. Namaste
